Life can be so cruel

These young Wood Ducks spent about 30 days of incubation time all the way up inside a protective cavity of an old tree, they must jump out and land on the ground from a vertical drop as high as 250 feet and follow their mother to the nearest pond.

Too bad a vicious predator was patiently waiting for them, life can be cruel sometimes.
